On April 15, 2025, in celebration of the 16th United Nations Chinese Language Day, a themed event titled "Chinese: A Gift Through Time and Space" was held in the auditorium on the 9th floor of Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology (SMUCT). The event was hosted by the Center for Language Education and Cooperation of China’s Ministry of Education and jointly organized by the Shanto-Mariam-Honghe Confucius Classroom and SMUCT.Distinguished guests in attendance included Prof. Artist Mostafizul Haque, Chairman of the SMUCT Board of Trustees; Prof. Dr. Md. Shah-E-Alam, Vice-Chancellor of SMUCT; Dr. Par Mosiur Rahman, Registrar of SMUCT; along with university faculties, students, and teachers from the Confucius Classroom.
